BDCC Special Events
The Calendar is shaping up to be another busy year for the Bournemouth & District Car Club. Our competitive calendar is jammed packed with something for everyone, including our show case events – The Bovington Stages and The Challenger Stages, amongst autotests/slaloms, sprints and more.
If you are unable to compete in any of the events but have any skills that may be of use then please contact the event organiser to offer your services!
Our last event for 2025 takes us to return to Bovington camp for the Christmas Cracker Slalom, so get those Christmas Santa hats on!
The Christmas Cracker Slalom is on 7th December 2025. It is taking place on the smooth concrete roads of Bovington AWDC, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 7NG.

Please Note:
No 4WD vehicles allowed.
The closing date for entries is Thursday 4th December 2025.
The entry fee is £45.00 up to and including Tuesday 25th November. From Wednesday 26th November until the closing date on Thursday 4th December, the entry fee is £50.00.
Don’t forget to apply for your B&DCC club membership and your MSUK competition licence for the driver and passenger before the event.

Competitors and marshals sign on using the same link on the Sapphire App. Just follow the instructions, enter your information as requested and indicate whether you are an entrant or marshal. After you have finished entering the event, click on the entry list and from here you can pay using the PayPal button. Marshals
As always, we need lots of marshals. If you are not competing, then why not come along and marshal? The event cannot run without you. Please fill in the Marshals Signing On Form by clicking on the link above.

It is that time again when the club presents cups and awards to those who have excelled during the past year.
It is also a chance to have a chat with your fellow club members old and new about what went well and what went wrong during the year!
So why not come along to the awards night, enjoy the buffet and have a drink or two with your partner.
The first Slalom/Autotest in the New Year is at Blandford Camp.
Time to prepare the Rally cars for the Bovington Stages. Keep an eye out for when registering for the event opens!
Get your cars prepared for the Catch the Pigeon Sprint at the Clay pigeon Raceway near Dorchester.
Keep you eye open for the registering date so you don’t miss out.
Time to put your eggs into a basket and head over to Blandford Camp to take part in the Easter Egg-stavaganza
The next slalom is on the concrete surface of Bovington Training Camp, so bring some spare wheels and tyres!
It’s summer time so why not come to our fun event and take part in the Gymkhana. Juniors are welcome and encouraged to take part and even better if you bring the family and camp overnight and have a BBQ with others.
This all takes place at Shillingstone on a farms grass field so stay over and be ready for the Slalom the next day.
This is our first of three visits to Shillingstone to take part in the Autotest/Slalom on a grass field.
Summer Breeze Slalom is our second event on the grass field at Shillingstone. Stay overnight on the Saturday if you wish so you will be ready for the Sunday event.
The Slippery when Wet slalom is the third and last event at Shillingstone, so who is going to take the Shillingstone Trophy this year?
We are back on concrete surface for the Harvest Slalom at Bovington Training Area

It’s our second visit to Clay Pigeon Raceway for one of the last sprint events of the year.

Two days of action rallying at Bovington Camp. Keep an eye out to when you can sign on as places go very quickly.
