Bournemouth & District Car Club Donates £4,000 to the Army Benevolent Fund at Bovington Stages 2026

Bournemouth & District Car Club (BDCC) is proud to announce a donation of £4,000 to the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), presented during The Bovington Stages 2026 on the 28th February.

The presentation was made at what proved to be another highly successful and well-supported event, with representatives from the ABF in attendance to receive the donation. The event also saw participation from the Armed Forces Rally Team, adding further significance to the occasion.

The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army’s national charity, dedicated to supporting soldiers, former soldiers, and their families for life. The ABF provides vital assistance to those facing hardship, including financial grants, support for mental health and wellbeing, housing needs, and recovery from injury or illness. Each year, the charity supports tens of thousands of individuals within the Army community.

BDCC has a long-standing relationship with the ABF and has contributed a substantial amount of funding over many years, reflecting the club’s continued commitment to supporting those who serve and have served.

This latest donation reinforces the generosity and community spirit of BDCC members, competitors, officials, and supporters, whose efforts make such contributions possible.

The club extends its thanks to everyone involved in our events and looks forward to continuing our support for this important cause in the years ahead.
