A fantastic turnout and day of motorsport for 2019, the rain even held off and made for some great conditions on the stages. For those that didn’t make it on the day there will be a new image gallery appearing soon and there is always 2020!

Thanks to the competitors and the organising team, including Cat Webb and Phil Muspratt, and everyone else involved for your much appreciated efforts in making the event happen. Thanks to the turn out of marshals and radio crew, in total we had 116 of you volunteers out there, which is an absolutely amazing turn out for a cold day in November. Without all of you the rally would not be able to run, the safety of everyone is helped by having you all come along and support the Bournemouth & District Car Club’s rally at Bovington.

Andy Vey / James Macklin in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 4 RS took overall 1st place.

Geoff Bennett / John Billett in the Ford S&j Escort brought home overall 2nd place.

Shaun Weston / Dean Mevo in the Ford Escort Mk2 secured overall 3rd place.

Paul Davis / Keith Richings in the Vauxhall Corsa took 1st in Class A.

Ben Short / Hannah Chislett in the Mazda MX5 took 1st in Class B.

Andrew Phillips / Sophie Buckland in the Peugeot 205 took 1st in Class C.

Richard Seal / Bruce Yeomans in the Ford Escort took 1st in Class D.

Robert Hayter / Alistair Crossly in the Mitsubushi Evo IV RS took 1st in Class E.

Graham Patten/Paulin Hale in the Datsun 240Z secured the best BDCC award.
